How accurate is your saddle selection system?
The short answer is Extremely accurate. We have pulled the data from over 20 years of bike fitting and used this to create an algorithm to filter down the ideal selection based on numerous characteristics and rider preferences.
How does my Bike Fit Systems differ from the saddle manufacturers own saddle selectors?
Our system really is one of a kind, the main difference is we have all the top global brands saddles all in one place and using the same consistent selection algorithm. Saddle companies all have different ways of measuring and their saddles, some are fit focused but most are more marketing focused, meaning a very time consuming and confusing list of results..
What bike types can use the system for?
You can use the system to find saddles for Road, Gravel, Tri, TT, MTB, Touring, Fitness, and Commuting,
How many saddles are the my saddle fit database?
We currently have over 700 saddles from all the top saddle brands in our database, these are then filtered down to a recommended selection unique to each individual.
Do you still need to try a saddle out before buying?
This is definitely recommended where possible. Bike Fit Systems will give you a run down of the the best saddle options for you in each cycling discipline, then out of this recommended list there may be some you are familiar with and some you are not.
We are launching a full saddle test center in late 2026 that will allow you to either come in to our Brisbane studio to test or mail order up to 3 test saddles at a time and test for a couple of weeks – This will be available Australia wide!

How does your shoe fitting system differ from manufacturers’ own fit guides?
Most manufacturers provide shoe sizing based on their specific models, often without considering individual biomechanics. Our system is unique because it compares shoes across multiple brands using a consistent methodology, ensuring a more tailored fit rather than a generic size recommendation.
What cycling disciplines does the shoe fit system cover?
Our system works for all cycling disciplines, including Road, Gravel, MTB, Triathlon, Commuting, and Touring.
How many shoes are in your database?
We have an extensive database covering hundreds of cycling shoe models from top brands. Our system continuously updates to reflect new releases and discontinued models.
Do customers still need to try shoes on before purchasing?
While our system provides a highly accurate recommendation, we always suggest trying shoes on when possible to ensure the perfect fit. Our downloadable PDF report allows customers to review their results and find the recommended shoes at local shops or online retailers.
